Prayer in Great Disgust and Disgrace. Luther.
424. Prayer in Great Vexation or Disgrace (Widerwaertigkeit)
Martin Luther(trans. Sept. 5 2012)
Oh God, do not punish me in wrath Psalm 6:1. Let Your punishment be in grace and here in time; punish as Father and not as judge. Oh God, be angry here on earth. Strike here, beat here, but there in eternity, spare us. Amen.
